Of bellied oblong form, the gadroon rim with leaf & shell corners, the reed & ribbon side handles terminating in twin lion masks, gadroon-edged tucked-in base & slightly domed cover with heraldic detachable handle of a demi-lion rampant, the front of the tureen engraved with a crest, a lion rampant, ducally crowned, 16 in. long (41 cm.), 123 oz.
