A group of four Japanese wood mask netsuke, Deme School, late 18th and 19th Century
representing: Daikoku, O-Tobide with eyes inlaid in aogai, and possibly Shikami, all signed Deme Uman; the last of Ebisu, signed Deme Joman Takamitsu -- 2in. (5cm.) max. (4)
Provenance
All four were sold at Christie's, London on 25 November 1980, The Albert Brockhaus sale.

The mask of Ebisu on the right in the photograph, is illustrated in Brockhaus' book on netsuke, pl. 17, no.158.
