Of high-shouldered ovoid form fitted with a domed cover and moulded in high relief around the neck with a simulated tasseled cord tied around a simulated brocade cover which is 'folded' below the neck and set in relief to the body of the jar, the 'brocade' painted in red, blue and green enamels and gilt with a pattern of stylized florets on a ground of scrolling green foliage, also painted above the foot in cobalt blue enamel with a frieze of irises below delicate clouds of gilt reserved on a cream crackled glaze ground, signed on the recessed base in blue enamel and with red enamel kao
