Edo period (19th century), inscribed Bizen (no) kuni ju Osafune Sukesada saku and with spurious date Genki ninen hachigatsu hi (1571.8)
Shinogi-zukuri, iorimune and o-gissaki with torii-zori curvature and carved with bo-hi marudome on both sides, forging pattern itame with suguha tempered edge and small, rounded tip; tang unshortened with katte-sagari file marks
Koshirae comprising a brown-lacquer scabbard with shibuichi hardware carved with dragons; hilt mounted with fuchi-gashira signed Genyo saku decorated to match the scabbard hardware and gilt-copper menuki of dragons; tsuba an iron plate carved with a dragon in clouds and a tiger, gilt highlights, signed Seiyo
