The rectangular case surmounted by a lion suppressing a serpent below its front right paw, above the circular silvered and engine milled Roman dial within a guilloche cast bezel, flanked by foliate scroll mounts, on a stepped plinth with fluted gallery and paw feet, the twin train movement with countwheel strike on a bell, lacking key and pendulum
