After the model by François Moreau, Circa 1875
Surmounted by a cloud-borne fairy and two flying angels, inscribed to the side Fcois Moreau, above a circular white enamel dial, flanked to each side by a putto holding floral garlands, on a shaped scrolling base
46 in. (117 cm.) high; 59 in. (150 cm.) wide; 20 in. (50 cm.) deep

Commissioned for the Palacio de los Marqueses de Torrelaguna, Madrid;
Thence by descent to the present owner.
