Each with shaped toprail and foliate finials decorated with engraved interlacing parcel-gilt motifs and dragon figures centred by a Chinese character denoting longevity, the pierced back decorated with stylised lotus-leaves and clouds, the uprights surmounted by cone finials, the shaped arms conformingly decorated, above a rectangular seat decorated with peonies, birds and insects, the shaped apron on square legs joined by plain stretchers and metal caps, both inscribed to the underside D.W. 14881/2, three legs reinforced with metal supports to the underside, two leg brackets distressed, losses to decoration and minor restorations
