Meiji Period (late 19th Century), each with black enamel mark Satsuma Yaki Gyokko, red Fuku mark, blue enamel Shimazu family crest
Each painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze with a panel of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune in a bamboo grove, the neck with a wide brocade band with four hollyhock crests on a red ground, between two formal bands of peonies, the shoulder and foot painted with lappet bands, the lip with a band of lozenges
