A PAIR OF GEORGE II MAHOGANY ARMCHAIRS
Circa 1755
Each serpentine padded back and square seat upholstered in two-tone acanthus-print cotton, the pierced canted trellis arms on incurved supports, the squared legs with geometric blind fretwork joined by an H-stretcher and with pierced fretwork angles, two rails replaced, both inscribed M, with the round trade label (2)
