A pair of Sèvres style gilt metal mounted urns and covers
of tapering form with domed covers, painted by A. Daret with 18th century courting couples in gardens, within shaped gilt panels issuing flowers on a dark-blue ground, each reverse painted with a bouquet of flowers within similar panels, signed, the cover painted with band of flowers, each with mounts formed as a pinecone finial, twin satyr mask handles and scrolling rim, leaf-moulded lower section, gadrooned stem and square shaped feet, imitation blue marks to covers -- 41cm. high, circa 1900 (slight wear to gilt and mounts)
