Each scantily-clad in classical robes, Winter wearing a cloak and by a pile of logs, Spring with flower chain and standing by a rose-bush, Summer with sheath of corn and scythe, Autumn with grapes and wine-cup, each on a circular naturalistic base inscribed Aristide Fontana, on a painted faux portoro marble cylindrical wooden pedestal
