Designed with a frieze of a procession carrying a festival float executed in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze, the shoulder with brocade cherry blossoms scattered in a stream above double gilt bands, the rim and foot with gilt bands, gilt and enamel mark Nikko zo and Shimazu family crest
