A SMALL IMPERIALLY-INSCRIBED PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE PLAQUE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The plaque of rectangular form with rounded corners is incised and gilded on one side with an imperial poem praising lotus, followed by the signature chen Yu Minzhong jingshu (respectfully inscribed by [your] servant Yu Minzhong). The reverse is incised and gilded with lotus leaves and blossoms rising from a flower pot on a stand.
