A Steiff somersaulting teddy bear
with golden mohair, boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed legs, felt pads, hump, clockwork rotating arm action causing the bear to tumble and button in ear with remains of white tag --11¾in. (30cm.) high, circa 1909 (slight staining to left hand pad)
