A Swiss black lacquered and parcel-gilt bracket clock
Probably Neuchâtel, second half 18th Century
The circular white enamelled Roman dial with pierced gilt hands in a rounded waisted case decorated with floral trails, with a bell-shaped top with ball finial and on scrolling legs, on a bell-shaped bracket with ball boss, the movement with a silk-suspended pendulum, verge escapement and countwheel with two strikes on a bell, restorations, replacements to the decoration
