A Tibetan gilt-bronze throne with a figure of Buddha Sakyamuni

Buddha Sakyamuni is seated on a lotus base, his right hand is in bhumisparshamudra, the left resting on his lap, wearing diaphanous cloak, his cold-gilded face with serene expression, urna, painted facial details, curled hairdress and usnisha, sealed and placed on a shaped and stepped throne decorated with turquoise inlaid ornaments, the base with a row of vajras and a pair of adorants and supporting a shaped backslab cast with a pair of elephants, vyalakas, makaras and topped by a crowned Garuda holding a pair of nagas
