A Tibetan thang.ka depicting Vajradhara and consort

The centre of the painting depicts Vajradhara seated with his female partner on a throne decorated with a pair of elephants, he is holding both vajra and ghanta, wearing dhoti, shawl and bejewelled, his face with serene expression, tiara in front of his chignon, head and body halo behind, flanked by a pair of divinities, a Heruka figure, Sitatara and six local divinities at the upper register and the lower section with eight animal-headed Keurimas, two-armed Mahakala and Tshe.ring.ma, in mountainous landscape
