Formed as a crenellated fortress, on rectangular wooden base, set with silver shields engraved with a coat-of-arms and presentation inscription PRESENTED TO COLONEL WENER OTTLEY on His Retirement BY THE OFFICERS OF THE 1ST WORCESTER AND WARWICK VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY as a token of their affection and esteem, the fortress set with a pair of cannon on wooden bases, a pair of lions and two recessed silver-mounted cut-glass inkwells with lion rampant finials, and rectangular stamp box, marked on fortress, inkwell stands, neckmounts and covers, stampbox
