A well detailed 50ft:1in. scale waterline model of the Thames Sprit's'l barge Lady Daphne,
built by E.J. Walpole with masts and rigging and full suit of sails set in a port reach, anchor, winch, bollards, stove pipe, 'canvas' covered hatches, rope coils, horses, ventilators, companionway, lea-board winches, helm, helmsman, rudder, ship's boat in davits and other details. The hull, finished in black, pale blue, white and green with dark brown sails, is mounted on a painted moulded seascape, glazed case -- 7¼ x 10¼in. (18.5 x 26cm.)
