A WHITE JADE FIGURE OF AN ELEPHANT
The elephant is shown standing foursquare with the head slightly turned and trunk curled onto the left foreleg towards a boy standing on one leg while holding a ruyi scepter. The elephant is draped with a long saddle cloth elaborately detailed with shou characters, bats and other archaistic designs. The well-polished stone is of even white tone.
