Plain circular and with broad gadrooned border, later engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on reverse - 23¾in. (60cm.) diam.

The arms are those of Leslie implaing Ryder for Col. Charles-Powell Leslie J.P. of Glasslough, High Sheriff in 1788 and M.P. for the County of Monaghan 1802-1826 and Colonel of the Monaghan Militia and his first wife Anne, daughter of the Rev. Dudley-Charles Ryder of Merrion Sqaure, Dublin
