An armorial Dutch market conical chocolate pot and a cover
Circa 1720
Enamelled primarily in iron-red and gilt and enriched with green, blue, yellow and pink enamels, one side depicting a coat-of-arms surmounted by a coronet among scattered flower sprays and buddhistic symbols, all between a cell-pattern border reserved with cartouches of lingzhi and a spearhead band around the spreading base, the curved spout set at a right angle from the handle, with matched pierced domed cover and knop finial
