Edo period (17th century), signed and inscribed Yasutsugu ni motte Nanban tetsu oite Bushu Edo saku hi (Yasutsugu II) and carved with hollyhock crest
Sugata [configuration]: hon-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-kissaki, very slight torii-zori
Kitae [forging pattern]: tight itame with ji-nie
Hamon [tempering pattern]: suguha
Boshi [tip]: ko-maru
Nakago [tang]: suriage, katte-sagari file marks, one hole, machi-okuri
Koshirae [set of mounts]: in guntai mounts, no tsuka
Habaki [collar]: single, silvered-copper
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 63.8cm.
Motohaba [width at start of tempered edge]: 3.2cm.
Sakihaba [width before tip]: 2.1cm.
