CIRCA 1800, BLACK E. MARK TO SECOND, UNDERGLAZE BLUE W AND INCISED 3 MARKS TO THIRD
The first painted with figures in wooded landscapes, one side with apple pickers in an orchard, within black line and gilt oval cartouches, the domed cover with two vignettes (finial replaced, associated areas of restoration to cover and rim of cover, small shallow chip to tip of spout, some scratching to enamels and wear to gilding); the second painted in black with wooded river landscape vignettes with buildings (slight wear to gilt rims); the third painted en grisaille with landscapes within black line and gilt oval cartouches (slight wear to gilding)
