THE BOTTLE, 1750-1850; EMBELLISHMENT JAPANESE, TSUDA FAMILY, KYOTO, 1920-1940
The pale-grey jade bottle is embellished with soapstone, enamel, lacquer and gilt, on one side with a gilded vase of flowers, a finger-citron branch and 'antiques', and on the other side with a flowering branch with two butterflies above.
2 ½ in, (6.3 cm.) high, jade stopper, wood spoon
