AN URARTIAN BRONZE HELMET
CIRCA 8TH CENTURY B.C.
Of conical form, the front with raised linear motif; and a bronze short sword, with splayed pommel, the cylindrical hilt with three raised collars, triangular blade with shallow mid-rib, circa late 2nd-early 1st millennium B.C.
12½ in. (31.7 cm.) and 18 in. (45.7 cm.) high respectively (2)

Property from a Princely collection, acquired in the 1960s (see lot 115 onwards).
