Subiaco type, printed in black, red and blue in double column, initials designed by Graily Hewitt. Calf-backed vellum by W.H. Smith and Son, with their stamp, spine with raised bands and lettered in gilt, uncut. Provenance: William Henry Smith, 3rd Viscount Hambleden (1903-1948; book label).
LIMITED EDITION. One of 180 copies printed on Batchelor paper of which 150 were for sale; another 12 copies were printed on vellum. Together with its companion volume, printed on the same paper and limited to 200 copies: Minor Poems Containing the Shepheardes Calender (1925). Hornby XXXII and XXV. (2)
