Titles in red and black with engraved vignettes. 4 engraved titles, engraved coat-of-arms, double-page genealogical table, 4 portraits (one folding), 136 engraved maps, plans, bird's-eye views, and plates (126 double-page or folding). (Title and all plates with perforated stamp, occational light marginal staining.) Modern red quarter morocco.

Dark impressions of the plates. The first edition was published by Blaeu's heirs in 1682 with Latin text, the first with French text was published by A.Moetjens in 1700. The present edition is a re-issue of P.Mortier's edition of 1704-5. The views include Turin, Nice, Novara, Vercelli, Alessandria and Savona. Koeman I, Bl 109. (2)
