Lot Essay

James, 4th Earl of Perth, K.T., and 1st Jacobite Duke of Perth was a Scottish politician at the centre of the Jacobite cause; a member of the Scottish Privy Council and Lord Chancellor of Scotland.
His eldest daughter, Mary Drummond (1675-1720) married William, 9th Earl Marischal (d.1712) in 1691.
