Petri, 1551. 2° (305 x 205mm). 2 double-page woodcut plates, numerous woodcut illustrations, woodcut device on title and last page. (Some browning, sometime heavy, occasional soiling, small wormtrack on title and wormhole to following 4 leaves.) Contemporary vellum, title label on spine, manuscript title on spine and bottom edge (some staining). Provenance: a few early annotations and text corrections including on verso of title -- Biblioteca Classica Italiana (stamp on flyleaf and title) -- Collegio O.
