Titles within a woodcut border composed of 10 blocks, large woodcut of Dionysius presenting his book to the Virgin Mary on title-versos of volumes II-IV, another woodcut of the saint on the last page of each volume (last leaf of volume I and title of volume II slightly defective at fore-margin, some worming in both volumes affects text slightly). Contemporary German blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards with clasps, spines painted green, paper label on upper cover (rather soiled, some worming). Provenance: Georg Truchsses, abbot (purchase inscription, 1535, on both titles); early woodcut bookplate. Adams D537. (2)
