Lot Essay

The Lunaria plant, commonly known as 'honesty' became one of Fabian Miller's most versatile subjects and his leitmotif. The plant's thin, silvery seed heads allowed light to pass, revealing its inner life at the same time as its outward form. 'Honesty' implies openness, simplicity and integrity: all qualities that can be found in Fabian Miller's working process and ethical aspirations.
