Cal. 9''' nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, champagne dial, Breguet numerals, all hinged within a circular case composed of a gold United States of America Twenty Dollar coin with the head of Lady Liberty to the cover and dated 1903, the bald eagle to the reverse and motto In God We Trust, hinged cover opened by depressing a concealed thumbpiece in the band, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch, set in a Twenty Dollars coin with Breguet numerals in 1910 and its subsequent sale on May 12th of 1927.

Further accompanied by an associated presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

According to our research, the present coin watch is the earliest known produced by Patek Philippe to come to the market.
