These drawings are related to two paintings of similar subject of circa 1900 in the Rijksmuseum and in a private Collection, M. Peters and B. Tempel, Paul Joseph Constantin Gabriël 1828-1903, Colorist van de Haagse School, exh. cat., Dordrecht and Cleves 1998-99, pp. 45 and 142, nos. 75-6, figs 38 and 107.
