Lot Essay

Members of the Manchu imperial family, Pu Quan and Pu Jin were brothers , and were second cousins to the last emperor, Pu Yi, and his second, cousin Pu Ru. All were great-grandsons of the Daoguang Emperor and were educated in the Chinese classics, and learned traditional styles of painting and calligraphy.
