STATUE D’AMITAYUS EN BRONZE DORE
CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE KANGXI (1662-1722)
He is shown in vajrasana on a lotus base with both hands resting on his lap in dhyanamudra. He is dressed in a dhoti with its border finely incised with scrolling tendrils, scarf draped around his shoulders and jewellery set with semi-precious stones. His face displays a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows. His hair is in a chignon topped with a ratna and another ratna set on a lotus flower to its front; unsealed.
