2° (357 x 255mm). Lithographic title-page and text, tissue guards, 40 hand-coloured lithographic plates of flowers printed by R.H. Nimmo, illustration slips for all four parts tipped in, subscriber's list at end. (Some very occasional spotting, some very light soiling.) 19th-century maroon polished calf panelled in blind with central arabesque on both covers, spine gilt in compartments, g.e. (corners rubbed, rebacked retaining original backstrip, slightly scuffed).

VERY RARE. Issued in four parts, each part containing a slip listing the illustrations, text and 10 plates. There appears to be no consensus on the complete collation of this work. Great Flower Books p. 47; Dunthorne 19.
