Silk, printed in blue and black (11 5/8 x 18 in.), edges neatly hemmed. Preserved in a sunken mat with marbled edging, matted and glazed in a very fine wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
A striking banner reportedly sold at the dedication of President Ulysses S. Grant's tomb in New York, 1897. H.R. Collins, Threads of History, 1979, no.787.
