THREE BLUE AND WHITE SNUFF BOTTLES
1820-1880
The soft paste, rectangular bottle, 1820-1850, is decorated on either side with a courting scene between molded mask and ring handles, the base with an apocryphal Yongzheng mark. The bottle of square section, 1850-1880, is decorated on each side with two buddhist lions beneath bats on the top and the neck. The third, cylindrical bottle, 1830-1850, is decorated with a continuous scene of eight various zodiac animals beneath a dragon peering from clouds.
