TWENTY-TWO SEVRES DINNER-PLATES AND FIVE SOUP-PLATES FROM THE ROYAL GREEN-GROUND DINNER-SERVICE MADE FOR THE CHATEAU D'EU
1844-47, blue or gilt LP marks incorporating various dates within a double circle, some with green printed crowned LP monogram marks flanked by SV and various dates, all with printed iron-red marks for Château d'Eu, various incised former's marks and gilder's marks
En suite to the preceding, each piece with a pale apple-green border reserved with three rectangular panels of flowers on a dark-brown-ground, divided by three pale-pink-ground oval cartouches enclosing various trophies and emblems painted en grisaille flanked by richly-gilt scrolling foliage and strapwork, the wells with interlocking gilt zig-zag and ropetwist ornament, the centres with a green and gilt roundel of husks and foliage (two plates and one soup-plate each with one chip) (27)
