Two Ivory Netsuke ** Edo period (19th century), the first with signature Ken'ichi, the second Kyoichi The first modelled as a quail on a bundle of millet, the bird's feathers and the grains of the millet finely incised and stained dark, the eyes inlaid in dark horn; the second of a monkey biting into a peach, the eyes inlaid in red stone 1 9/16in. (4cm.) long; 13/16in. (2.1cm.) high (2)
