SIGNED MUHAMMAD IBN AHMAD AL-AHLWANI, EGYPT OR SYRIA, 14TH CENTURY
On eye medicine, Arabic manuscript on cream paper, 19ff. plus 2 fly-leaves, each with 25ll. of small black naskh with important words and headings picked out in red, catchwords, occasional marginal notes, colophon dated AH 958 although probably added later, and signed Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Ahlwani, some areas of spotting and waterstaining, in later purple morocco
