The Education of King David

Drawings close in style are in the British Museum, J.A. Gere and P. Pouncey, Italian Drawings in the Department of Prints and Drawings in the British Museum, Artists working in Rome c. 1550 to c. 1640, London, 1983, nos. 104-11, pls. 97-100. These were part of an album of 85 drawings related to Achille Bocchi's book Symbolicarum Quaestionum ... Libri Quinque, published in Bologna in 1555, whose prints are illustrated in Bartsch XV, 179-328.
