Buddha Shakyamuni is shown in vajrasana on a lotus with his right hand in bhumisparshamudra while the left rests on his lap. He is dressed in monks robes with a small section draped over his right shoulder in the shape of a swallow’s tail. His face displays a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows and urna. His curled hair and ushnisha are topped with a lotus-bud; re-sealed.
