Three similar ovoid jars (two without covers) are in the collection of the Taft Museum, Cincinnati, and are illustrated in The Taft Museum, Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, New York, 1995, pp. 581, where it is noted that the scrolling design was formerly known as 'tiger lily.' A similar cylindrical jar and cover is in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam and is illustrated by C.J.A Jörg in Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, London, 1997, pp. 116-17, no. 118.
