Two Large Seto Chaire
Edo Period (17th Century)
The first slightly ovoid with a wide, rounded shoulder and short neck, the banded brown and black glaze falling to a line some way above the base; the second smaller, of similar form but with two lug handles and a plugged spout, the brown and black glaze extending to a line about half way down the side
