Two Qingbai Carved Bowls with Petal-Lobed Rims
Southern Song dynasty, 12th-13th century
One with shallow flared sides, the interior freely carved with a large foliate spray, all but the center of the base covered with a glaze of good pale blue tone; the other with slightly rounded, conical sides, the interior carved and combed with a large peony spray, all but the base covered with a glaze of pale blue tone
