8o (220 x 136 mm). Engraved vignette on title, 8 engraved plates (2 hand-colored), one folding map in color (some light browning). Contemporary olive morocco, covers with gilt border, spines in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, gilt lettered in one, gilt fillet border in the others, turn-ins gilt, green watered-silk doublures, edges gilt and gauffered with 3 watercolor paintings, one of a mountainous landscape with lake and 2 of goslings replicating the title vignettes (some light discoloration or scuffing); modern folding case by FAZAKERLEY.
