A HANDSOME COPY of the first posthumous edition of the works of the Renaissance French poet, Clement Marot. A Protestant poet at the courts of Marguerite of Navarre and François I, Marot is celebrated for his songs of love and his influential translation of the Psalms. The edition was shared between four printers, each issuing it with their own imprint.
