A PAIR OF LARGE JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASES, ON STANDS
MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912)
Each of baluster form decorated with doves seated on maple branches amongst chrysanthemums on a pink ground, on a carved teak stand with gadrooned edge over a stylized rocaille frieze and three cabochon-carved legs joined by a stretcher on paw feet
The vases: 60 in. (153 cm.) high; 19 ½ in. (50 cm.) diameter
The stands: 19 ¾ in. (50 cm.) high; 19 in. (48 cm.) diameter
